Burnout & The Stress Cycle
The purpose of the training is to explore how chronic stress and stressors can lead to burnout. It will discuss stressors, the stress response, signs of burnout, and offer tips and suggestions for supervisors. Participants will leave the training with strategies on how to complete the stress cycle themselves or guide others through completing the stress cycle.
Ashley Lichtle, BSW, MPA
Ashley Lichtle has a Master’s in Public Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from UA Little Rock. Ms. Lichtle completed her dual Bachelor’s degrees in Social Work and Sociology at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, and has experience in the field of early education as a ‘13 alum with Teach for America Arkansas. Previously with the Arkansas Commission on Child Abuse, Rape and Domestic Violence, she joined Partners for Inclusive Communities in June 2020 as a Project Specialist on the Assisting Crime Victims with Disabilities project. In this role Ms. Lichtle works with state agencies, victim services organizations, and nonprofits across the state to improve services for people with disabilities who experience violence. Through her work in trauma and violence, Ms. Lichtle has seen firsthand the importance of addressing burnout and fatigue in professionals and advocates.
