Webinar Description: 

This presentation will discuss how parents & physicians can work together, using resources from CDC’s parent-friendly Learn the Signs. Act Early. to assist in parent-engaged developmental monitoring.

Presenter: Angela Scott MD, PhD, FAAP

Dr. Scott is a developmental-behavioral pediatrician at UAMS and is the current Arkansas Ambassador for the CDC’s Learn the Signs, Act Early program.  In addition to her clinical work at the James L. Dennis Developmental Center, she is Medical Director for the UAMS Kids First Program, serves as one of the core teaching faculty in the College of Medicine, and has a joint appointment in the Department of Medical Humanities and Bioethics.

 

Dr. Scott with be presenting with Ms. Ashley Henry, a parent advisor on the Arkansas Act Early State Team.
